Editor’s Note: We hastily edited this special election edition of Pipe Up! with the great submissions that might (hopefully!) seem dated in the next few weeks. We have some great submissions standing by for the next full issue, including a recipe and a surf report. This magazine was born to put a megaphone to some voices against the war, against an administration that “doesn’t listen to focus groups” or the people. We look forward to a happier and more hopeful time after November 2nd when we can return our focus to art and love and silly comedy. Consider this a momento of this election and the dark age that ends now. If things go awry, if Kerry somehow does not “win”, if the war goes on, meet you in the streets.
